We used to call them catties' tailies in our local dialect (little cats' tails in English). My father used to hammer nails into the top of a wooden thread spool for us when we were children. Happy childhood memories :)Catherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16821793445625955012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4837299135351505075.post-81823787324674129832013-10-07T06:59:05.342-07:002013-10-07T06:59:05.342-07:00Hi Catherine, I hope you've recovered from the...Hi Catherine, I hope you've recovered from the last weeks, you've produced some beautiful handstitched spirals, I really love them. I see that you have tried to make felted spirals with wire in it. I tried to do the same with these French knitted tubes (don't know how you call them in English), but haven't put the pics on my blog yet. I also had the idea of trying it out in felt, when I saw your felted spiral here. Our brains seems to function in the same direction ......:)pascale putzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09930030283407123098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4837299135351505075.post-85715462748755212292013-10-06T23:31:58.415-07:002013-10-06T23:31:58.415-07:00Pleased to see you are back in your creative vein....Pleased to see you are back in your creative vein. It was lovely to see you at NEOS preview although it would have been good to have had a longer chat. Didn't think there would be so many people there!
